Mylène Tax
Full time artist & catlover

I am Mylène Tax, a passionate artist specializing in pet portraits and charcoal art. With a keen eye for detail and a deep love for capturing the essence of beloved pets, I strive to blend realism with emotion in every piece I create. My work celebrates the unique bond between humans and their animal companions, turning precious moments into timeless and heartfelt keepsakes.

Based in the Netherlands, I live in the heart of Goes with my partner and our two Maine Coon cats. I opened my first studio at just 22 and now work from my home art studio. With a background in graphic design, my skills and creativity shine through in every artwork I bring to life.

If you're curious about my creative process and the thoughts behind my artwork, you can follow me on Instagram and TikTok for a deeper look into my work. There, I share behind-the-scenes glimpses, work-in-progress videos, and the inspiration that fuels my pieces. Whether it’s the detailed process of creating a pet portrait or the emotions behind a particular artwork, my social media offers a closer connection to my artistic journey.
