Pet portrait commissions

As an artist, my goal is to not only recreate your pet’s appearance but also to capture their unique personality. I want to create a lasting memory that brings a smile to your face.

Each portrait is completely handmade with brushstrokes and oil paint—no digital tools, no prints. Just an artist at her easel, often with a cat napping nearby in the studio.

A custom pet portrait makes a thoughtful gift for yourself or a loved one who cherishes their pets. It can be a special gift for people who have lost their pets and want to keep warm memories about their animals forever.

How it works!

  1. Send Photos
Send me clear, high-quality photos of your pet. Multiple photos can help me better capture their personality. Please send large, uncompressed files for the best results.

  2. Choose Details
Together, we’ll select the best photo to work from (if you haven’t decided yet) and discuss the size and details of the painting or drawing.

  3. Place Your Order
I will send you a custom payment request, and once you’re ready, complete your payment. Let me know if an invoice is needed.

  4. Painting Process
I’ll start your painting or drawing and send you a progress photo to ensure we’re on the right track.

  5. Final Review
When the portrait is finished, I’ll send you a photo of the completed painting or drawing for approval.

  6. Drying time
Oilpaintings need at least 2 weeks to fully dry before I can varnish the painting. My charcoal drawings need one week to varnish & dry.

  7. Shipping
After you confirm you’re happy with the result, and the painting or drawing has dried fully, I’ll carefully pack and ship your artwork. You’ll receive a tracking number to monitor the delivery.

Satisfaction Guaranteed
If you’re not fully satisfied with the artwork, you’ll receive a full refund before shipping. Your happiness with the artwork is my top priority!

Creating your drawing or painting takes time, so please check the estimated shipping date. I handle multiple orders simultaneously and dedicate the care and attention each piece deserves. After all, something meant to last a lifetime is worth the wait.

I focus on expressive brushstrokes rather than hyper-detailed precision, so if you’re after a perfect replica of every hair, whisker, or scale, I might not be the right fit. But if you’re looking for a thoughtfully crafted and artistic portrait, I’m your artist!

I’ll create a portrait that highlights your pet’s face, keeping background details minimal to let your furry friend shine as the star of the show.

I’ll spend quite some time with your pet portrait in the studio! In the notes, please share a bit about your pet: their name, favorite toy, or a special story about them. This helps me understand why they mean so much to you. Feel free to include extra photos to capture their personality even better!

Frames
I offer free floating frames with your artwork in classic black or wood. If you’d like another color, just let me know and we’ll discuss the details.

Combining Images
Want to combine multiple photos? No problem—send them to me, and I’ll try to create a beautiful composition.

Photo Quality
Please send clear, high-resolution images; blurry photos won’t work for the painting.

Timeline
Paintings and drawings take 10–14 days to complete. If you have a specific deadline, I’ll do my best to accommodate. Once finished, the painting requires an additional two weeks to dry before I can varnish and ship it. The varnish ensures the artwork is well-protected.

Charcoal drawings
Charcoal drawings need another week to varnish 7 dry the artwork. Your drawing will be drawn on high quality canvas. The varnishing makes sure the drawing won’t smudge or smear.
